Il Salotto del Mondo non è per tutti

Quando il fiume non è più d’acqua salata…

Il Salotto del Mondo non si è mai distinta in natura per l’aver fiumi, corsi d’acqua stagni o laghetti. Qui nel Salotto del mondo non ci si ubriaca di acqua dolce. Da sempre, chi ha scelto quest’isola per oziare o per dimenticarsi della crudeltà e del chiasso della terraferma ha sempre goduto durante le passeggiate oppure da una terrazza o da una finestra della propria dimora lui, il mare. Mare ovunque, mare incontrastato, a Nord come a Sud, ad Est come ad Ovest, come giusto che sia per un’isola, ammesso che per Capri non è la stessa cosa. Il mare di Capri è… soltanto di Capri, per colori, emozioni, panorami, suoni e profumi.
Negli ultimi anni, però, questo “grande fiume d’acqua salata”, se così lo vogliamo chiamare, ha lasciato il posto ad un’altra grande massa che non è d’acqua bensì di persone, da ogni dove.
Un tempo il Salotto del mondo godeva di una tranquillità quasi irreale. Tutto poteva sembrare così grande da poterci stare in tanti e bene. Strade tranquille, mare tranquillo, botteghe tranquille, bus, funicolare e automobili tranquilli. Gli hotel erano di pochi, la piazzetta per pochi.
Chi non poteva permettersi tanto lusso cambiava rotta e approdava alla vicina Ischia, meta di maggiore ‘massa’.
Oggi, invece, le rotte si sono invertite: tutti vogliono esserci o soltanto vedere per un giorno la nostra rinomata isola. Onorati, emozionati noi. Attenzione però, perché se il denaro ha conquistato il Salotto del mondo, non tutto quel denaro è “Signore”. Ricordate che Capri, il suo sangue “fashion” fatto di eleganza, stile, educazione e lusso non si può comprare solo con mero denaro. Molti credono che la materia batte la sostanza ma quest’isola ha un cuore antico che è l’antimateria. “Signori si nasce” diceva il Principe Antonio De Curtis e Capri “lo nacque” cosi come i primi ospiti illustri. Non pensiate mai che tutto è merce, l’illusione dura quel tanto che basta, il mero acquisto isolato in quel preciso spazio temporale contornato di ipocrisia. Praticamente tutto finisce li.
Premesso ciò, è vero che l’isola è oggi affollata, lo abbiamo sperimentato già tra il 25 Aprile e il ponte del Primo maggio. Ogni anno di più. Non abbiamo odore di politica in questo nostro Salotto ne’ vogliamo “profumarci” di ciò perché il nostro blog va oltre. Però i divani del Salotto del mondo non sono infiniti, non sono per tutti e non per discriminazione, questo mai, ma per natura stessa. Ecco perché se non basteranno più non si riuscirà a godere di quella magia che Capri è. Sedersi tutti non si può e comunque si rischierebbe di non rendere le giuste emozioni a nessuno di coloro accomodato stretto stretto… e allora non violentiamo il fascino suggestivo che qui alberga da secoli. Non roviniamo la memoria storica e quella dei turisti di oggi che devono ripartire con la voglia di tornare. Non affatichiamo chi ci vive e ci lavora più di quanto non debba già patire la vita in generale. Diamo un senso all’accoglienza serena, ordinata e ben gestita. Diamo un senso al disagio che facilmente può scatenarsi, allo scontento e alla sicurezza per tutti.
Diamo un senso alla vivibilità che è colonna portante dell’isola sin dal tempo dell’Imperatore Augusto.
